CUPE Local 1196 enters into bargaining with the York Region District School Board (July 2008)
Special meetings were held at the CUPE 1196 Union Office on June 26th and June 27th of 2008. The membership of CUPE 1196 voted in favor to move forward with regards to the opening of the collective agreement and entering into negotiations with the York Region District School Board with respect to local bargaining and Provincial Table Discussions (PDT) bargaining.
